Ingredients
- 1 9 inch frozen pie crust
- 2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°.
- In a medium microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate and margarine together in microwave. Remove when chocolate is almost melted. Stir to finish melting the chocolate with the margarine. Let mixture cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, beat two eggs with a fork.
- Once chocolate and margarine mixture is cooled slightly, add in remaining ingredients. Stir by hand with a fork or a whisk until just combined. Do not overmix to avoid a tough texture.
- Remove store bought pie crust from freezer. Pour mixture into pie crust. Run a fork through the mixture to eliminate air bubbles.
- Bake in preheated 300° oven for 45-50 minutes. Remove when center still wiggles slightly.
- Serve warm or let cool to room temperature. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
