The problem: Charger cords that tangle and end up laying all over, in my way, and looking messy.
The solution: This cord! It has magnets at intervals along it that make this cord coil up into a neat and compact little cylinder. It comes in a couple of lengths and it is great for my desk, my end table, or anywhere that I need a charger handy. Caution: Be sure you order the type of USB that you need. Some people need A and some need C. Do a little research to be sure you get the right one for your device. I might have needed this advice myself before ordering!
The problem: Too much unorganized clutter on my nightstand causing me to knock things off in the middle of the night.
The solution: This nightstand organizer is the perfect size for my bedside table. I can charge my phone in it easily and I have spots for my earbuds, glasses, chapstick, hairbands, etc. It keeps everything so neat and easy to reach. I like the light gray color because it is neutral and doesn’t look too obvious. This has made my bedside necessities so much more accessible.
The problem: My medium to larger sized purses or bags got a lot of lint, dust, and dirt particles in the bottom.
The solution: This little ball is the handiest little item I have found. You just drop it into your purse and it cleans up all of the dirty stuff that goes to the bottom. You can use it over and over just by washing it off. I was skeptical, but it really does work and my purse is so much cleaner inside.
The problem: Using power strip/surge protectors throughout my home, the plugs stuck out and got in the way of furniture or looked bad.
The solution: This Sleek Socket fits right into and over the normal socket and the power strip sits down on the floor or the cord can be ran along the floor or molding to hide cords behind the furniture. It works well behind furniture that needs to fit closer to the wall and it gives you three plug ins. It looks so much nicer without cords running across the walls. Check out the pictures on Amazon to see what a nice difference it makes. Hiding cords has never been easier.
The problem: Difficulty with cleaning the shower/tub, floors and other hard to clean areas.
The solution: I ordered this cordless scrubber on an Amazon Prime day a couple of years ago. It makes bathroom cleaning so much easier. It also is great for cleaning baseboards and molding. The length of the handle can be adjusted to the job at hand. The charge lasts for multiple jobs. It has helped me since I have trouble with my back and knees. It is easy to use and I love the many attachments for various cleaning jobs.
The problem: Too many shower products on the edge of the tub, falling off the edge into the shower or out on the floor, and causing soap buildup on the edge of the tub.
The solution: I ordered this organizer for my tub/shower combo. It comes with rings to hang it on the shower rod. It has 8 pockets that are the perfect size for most shower products, so it will hold pretty much any product I need to put in it. (Please note: I do not put extra large products in it like the ones from Sams or Costco.) The caddy dries quickly after showers. It keeps all of the shower products up off of the edge of the tub and in one very accessible place. I’ve only had it a couple of months but the material seems sturdy and should last.
The problem: My regular vacuum cleaner was too heavy and hard to use with my back problems.
The solution: This handy, lightweight vacuum was recommended to me by a friend. Having back problems, vacuuming can be an uncomfortable task. This vacuum makes it much easier. There is no cord in the way, it will pivot well, and the handle will fold downward to go underneath furniture or beds. It is a little pricey but you can find them cheaper with a search. My friend found hers at a good price at Sam’s Club. They make a version for pet owners too if needed.
The problem: I did not have a fire extinguisher and wanted a small one to fit under my sink.
The solution: I chose this handy fire extinguisher spray after reading the reviews and the advertisement for it. I looked at several that were cheaper but this one puts out 10 kinds of fires and the other sprays only worked on certain ones. My thought was that “you probably get what you pay for” so I chose this one. I have not had to use it yet but I feel better having it handy.
The problem: I did not like using dryer sheets. I read about these on social media and decided to try them.
The solution: These dryer balls serve several purposes. 1. No more dryer sheets! 2. They soften clothes naturally. 3. They cut down on wrinkles by keeping the clothes from wrapping around each other. 4. They save energy by cutting down on the amount of drying time. If you’ve never tried them I would definitely recommend giving them a go.
The problem: My old drying rack was not sturdy and did not hold enough clothes.
The solution: I ordered this laundry rack a couple of years ago to replace the one I had that would fold up without warning and was not sturdy enough for the clothes we put on it. This rack is made of steel and has a chrome finish. It is very sturdy and holds more clothes than the one I had before. It also folds flat to store if you need to do that. If you have a rack that is making you nuts then give this one a try!
