The Best Products for Outdoor Fun This Spring!
Spring is coming soon! And depending on where you live, you might already be getting some beautiful weather that has you itching to get outside. In my family, we are big on outdoor adventures of all kinds. So, if you’re looking ahead and wanting to make getting outside easier and more fun, look no further! I’ve put together a list of my favorite products that my family and I use to make our outdoor days extra special.
Outdoor Fun at Home
I’ve always loved watching birds. When I was a child, I used to watch with my Papa. He had lots of bird feeders and he would let me fill the feeders and teach me the different types of birds. Those memories are very precious to me now, and I always think of him when I watch birds feeding out my own window. Spring is the perfect time to set up a feeder. This kind of feeder uses solar power collected during the day to become a beautiful lantern at night. If you like to sit on your porch or deck in the evenings, this is the perfect product for you this spring! One thing we absolutely love for the evenings in the spring, summer, and fall is our fire pit. We got ours at Home Depot, but it is very similar to this one that has great reviews on amazon. We will take the kids outside and grill hot dogs or make s’mores with ours. It turns a regular evening into something really special. We also love to pull it out when we have people over. It’s fun to grill on, it can provide a little warmth if the night gets cool, and it just adds some fun ambiance to an outdoor gathering. If you like to entertain outside, it’s definitely worth the investment.
Products for Daily Outdoor Adventure
If you have kids and you like to go on outdoor adventures, I highly recommend putting together an “adventure pack” for each kid. We did this for Christmas for our littles a couple of years ago, and they love them! It’s pretty simple to do, and your kids will go from enjoying nature passively to actively exploring. One of our favorite things for outdoor activities is our picnic blanket. We actually keep it in the car just in case we ever find ourselves needing somewhere to sit. We have this one and we love it! It is extra large to fit any size group, has waterproof backing, and is really easy to roll up and carry around on the move. We’ve used ours for actual picnics, but also at the beach, at our kids’ ball games, and just hanging out in our own yard. Products for Travel in the Great Outdoors
If you are planning on traveling and want to enjoy some of the great outdoors, I highly recommend checking out our country’s National Parks. We’ve been visiting the National Parks with our kids for years now, and it’s one of our absolute favorite things to do! We travel a lot with our kids, and one thing they do often in the car is read. Especially if you are traveling for outdoor adventure, having a book like this one about the National Parks is the perfect thing for your kids to enjoy on the ride. If you are going to be traveling, and especially if you know you’ll be taking in some beautiful scenery, it might be a great time to invest in some attachable lenses for your phone. Not everyone has the money to spend on a super nice camera. Or you may just not want the hassle of lugging a separate camera around on vacation. Either way, these little lenses provide the perfect solution! They can simply attach to your phone and can help you produce different kinds of shots than you can usually get.
