So Easy Triple Chocolate Cake: Oh, the Goodness!

This is the easiest, most chocolatey cake that you can make! You dump the ingredients together and mix with a hand mixer. Bake it. Cool it. Add an incredible chocolate glaze and then enjoy! If you love an easy recipe and love chocolate, then this triple chocolate cake is for you!
This wonderful recipe was given to me years ago by my sister-in-law, Teresa. She is an amazing cook and this cake is just one example of her delicious recipes!
Ingredients for So Easy Triple Chocolate Cake

- devil’s food cake mix
- instant chocolate pudding mix
- sour cream
- milk
- vegetable oil
- water
- eggs
- chocolate chips (2 cups for the cake and 1 cup for the glaze)
- butter
Easy Directions for So Easy Triple Chocolate Cake



It cannot be any easier! Dump the first seven ingredients in your mixing bowl. Use your hand mixer and mix it up until it’s well blended. Stir in 2 cups of chocolate chips and pour it into a greased 10 inch bundt pan. (If you need a bundt pan here is one on Amazon.) Now pop it into the oven to bake! Soon your So Easy Triple Chocolate Cake will be done!

Recipe for So Easy Triple Chocolate Cake

So Easy Triple Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 1 18 oz pkg Devil's Food Cake Mix
- 1 3.9 oz pkg Instant chocolate pudding mix powder (as is) Do not prepare. Just dump the powder mix in the cake.
- 1 (8 oz) cup sour cream (regular or light is fine)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups milk chocolate chips divided 2 cups for the cake and 1 cup for the glaze
- 6 tbsp butter for the glaze. Does not go into the cake mixture.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour (or use baking spray like Baker's Joy) a 10 inch Bundt pan.
- In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, milk, oil, water, and eggs and mix with a mixer until blended well.
- Stir in the 2 cups of chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into your prepared bundt pan.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool 15 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
Chocolate Glaze
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat or in the microwave. Add 1 cup reserved chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Drizzle over the cake. Enjoy!

can u bake in a 9×13 pan as well?
I have never tried it in a 9X13 but I would think that you could by adjusting the cooking time and keeping check on it toward the end. I will have to give that a try and add those instructions. Thank you!
