Plaza III Steakhouse Soup: How to Make this Rich Tasting but Affordable Beef and Vegetable Soup
Plaza III Steakhouse Soup is a hearty and comforting beef and vegetable bowl of goodness. The Plaza III restaurant was a famous steakhouse in Kansas City. My mother is from Kansas City, so she has had this recipe in her collection for a long time.
I like to think of Plaza III soup as vegetable soup on steroids. The base is thicker and richer than regular vegetable soup plus it includes the addition of beef to make it extra filling.
This is made all in one pot, so there is minimal washing up. It makes a lot, but this freezes really well. Make a batch to enjoy now and later!
What You Need to Make Plaza III Soup
Here is what you’ll need to make this hearty and tasty steakhouse soup. The original recipe called for steak, but it is just as delicious made with ground beef. To make it an affordable version, I have used hamburger in place of steak. This is perfect for a cold night when you need warming up both inside and out. Plaza III Steakhouse Soup is comfort in a bowl.
Ingredients Needed:
- Butter
- Flour
- Ground beef
