How to Make an Easter Basket for Grownups
Easter Baskets Aren't Just for Kids!
Kids are top of the list when it comes to receiving Easter baskets, but why not consider making a grownup version of an Easter basket? Be inspired by this Easter basket I put together with entertaining for the holiday in mind. It includes some fun paper napkins and bunny shaped plates, decorative eggs, a cute tea towel, and the famous Peeps marshmallow candy. And no Easter basket is complete without chocolate.
Here is What I Used to Make a Grownup Easter Basket
I created this Easter basket with the end goal of providing the recipient with some cute items for Easter entertaining. With that in mind, my recommendation would be to gift this a few days before Easter. If they want to use some of the items for their Easter table or decorations, they will have it in advance.
Here are the items I included in mine and where I found them.

The fun ceramic basket is one I already had on hand. If you would like to gift a ceramic basket, I found a white ceramic fruit basket here at Amazon. I’ve always had good luck at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby for straw baskets.
If you have read any of my paper-related posts like How to Be Organized for Birthday Cards, you know I am addicted to paper. I stumbled across the Hester and Cook website and fell in love with their wide variety of paper products perfect for any holiday. These Peeps inspired napkins are too cute for words. They are what prompted the whole idea of a grownup Easter basket.
The Easter tea towel comes from Belk’s website as well as the pastel decorative eggs tucked in the basket. The adorable bunny shaped dessert plates are also from Belk’s website.
The Peeps marshmallow bunnies and chicks are easy to find of course. I picked these up at my local grocery store along with the chocolate carrots.
Other Grownup Easter Basket Ideas
Here are a couple more ideas you could do for a grownup Easter basket. Fix a basket full of Easter eggs. In addition to filling some of the eggs with candy, write little notes to tuck in the rest of the eggs. The notes could be “coupons” for things like a car wash, spa day, dinner out, etc.
If you are staying overnight for the Easter holiday weekend, take an Easter basket filled with breakfast treats like a bag of coffee, tea, jam, granola, fruit, etc.
The possibilities are endless, so use your imagination and have fun! The grown up person you are surprising with the Easter basket will be a grateful recipient!
