The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
This book will definitely keep you turning pages. The first half of the book is told by Amber, a woman who feels she deserves a better life and is determined to make it happen. She methodically carries out a plan, becoming best friends with Daphne Parrish so that she can get Daphne’s husband, Jackson. The second half of the book is told from Daphne’s point of view. As the book progresses you will find twists and turns that you never saw coming. This book is very entertaining with an antagonist you will love to hate! Also, there is a sequel to this book, The Next Mrs. Parrish, so there are two books available to enjoy!

Never Lie by Frieda McFadden
I have read several books by this author. I like some more than others but she always seems to keep the story moving and delivers many twists, turns, and surprises. This book is about a married couple, Ethan and Tricia, who are caught out in a snowstorm and take refuge in a nearby old house. They soon discover that the house belonged to a well known psychiatrist, Dr. Adrienne Hale, who went missing three years before. As they explore the house, Tricia discovers a room containing the doctor’s secret patient tapes. She begins to listen and discovers the truth about Adrienne’s death and other secrets as well. There are lots of surprises in this one.
The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose
This book tells the story of a married couple, Adam and Sarah Morgan. When Adam is charged with the murder of his mistress, his only hope is his wife. She is a top criminal attorney and she begins painstakingly gathering evidence to clear him of the crime. The evidence is overwhelming because the woman, Kelly, was killed in their lake house and he was there at the time. He does not help himself by making some decisions that will jeopardize his case. The road to the truth twists and turns up to the very ending. This book has a lot of profanity and some sex as well, so be aware.
The Tradd Street Series by Karen White
If you like stories about old homes, paranormal activity, and romance then these books are for you. If you are familiar with the Charleston, SC area they will be a fun read for you as well. There are seven books in this series. The House on Tradd Street is the first. Melanie Middleton is a real estate agent who inherits a historic home from a man she only met once. The house comes with numerous needed repairs, a dog, and some ghosts. Melanie has ignored her ability to interact with ghosts, but now she finds she must in order to solve a mystery that may include murder. This is not great literature by any means, and some parts can be repetitive, but it is fun read for lovers of ghost stories.
