This Is the Unbelievably Easy Weeknight Dinner Recipe You Need!
Spoon Burgers Are Your Ticket to a Fast Supper
It’s always a good day when you can add another recipe to your easy weeknight dinner arsenal. When you need a quick answer to the age old question of “what’s for dinner?”, then my Aunt Mary’s spoon burger recipe is it. Similar to Sloppy Joe sandwiches, these have a little bit more zing with the addition of vinegar.
Made with ingredients that most families keep on hand, you can have dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes. These also reheat well for a quick lunch the next day. This recipe comes from my late Aunt Mary’s recipe collection, and spoon burgers remain a family favorite to this day.
An Easy Weeknight Dinner Recipe
This easy weeknight dinner is a one pot type of recipe. Everything is done in a single skillet, so there is minimal clean up. And this recipe goes well with various side options. You can easily serve it with chips and fruit for a quick family dinner. Another option is to try Karen’s Broccoli Cauliflower Salad Recipe and serve one of her two apple dessert recipes. A Perfect Recipe to Make and Take
This also makes a great meal to make and take to someone. If you know a new mother, this makes a perfect dinner to deliver as part of a care package. All you need to do is put your spoon burgers in a container, add some buns, chips, fruit, and a dessert to make a new mom’s day. Arrange it all in a cute basket lined with a baby blanket as an added gift for the new baby.
Here is a nice option for a basket that can be used for nursery organization after your meal is delivered. And here is an option for a neutral white muslin swaddle blanket you can use as the basket liner.
