Ducky’s Sweet Peach Chicken Salad Recipe is Unique and Delicious!
Chicken Salad is one of the best summer recipes to have in your cooking arsenal, and there are so many different kinds. I’ve had it many different ways, but this unique take that my sweet husband makes is my absolute favorite. It trades the mayo for honey mustard dressing, and the star ingredient is one of my favorite things about summer: fresh peaches! And it’s so easy! This is Ducky’s Sweet Peach Chicken Salad. If you are looking for a unique and delicious chicken salad, check this out! You won’t be disappointed!
First, Prep Your Ingredients
Start off by prepping your chopped ingredients. Peel and dice your peaches into small pieces until you have 3/4 cup. We always get our peaches from a local orchard (Shoutout to Chitwoods!) but you can buy whatever type you like most. Next, dice 1/4 cup of celery and chop 1/4 cup of pecans. These really give the recipe some crunch and the flavors blend really nicely with the peaches.
Next, open your cans of chicken. Drain, then pour the chicken into your mixing bowl. If you need a good set, I have this set with lids by Pyrex and I love them!
Use a fork to mash and separate the chicken to your desired consistency. I like mine completely shredded, but feel free to leave it a little chunky if you like it that way. It won’t change the taste, just the texture. Of course, you can use rotisserie or boiled chicken but canned chicken is really easy and it is so good in this recipe.
Next, Mix It All Together
Add your chopped ingredients to the bowl and add in the honey mustard dressing. Mix it all together until it is completely blended.
Though the recipe calls for 1/2 cup of honey mustard dressing, you can add less or more depending on your preference. I usually add 1/4 cup at a time until I like the consistency. Be sure to have some available to drizzle on your sandwich or salad when you are ready to serve it. So good!
Now, Enjoy!
My favorite way to eat this chicken salad is on a croissant with a side of chips and a pickle or two. But if you prefer, it is also great with crackers or pressed in a hot sandwich.
If you don’t have a press, check out this one on amazon. We have one that is similar that I got from Belk years ago and we love it!

I have used apples and grapes but never thought to use peaches! Can’t wait to give it a try!
It is so yummy and it also looks so pretty served on lettuce leaves with fruit and crackers. I love the honey mustard in it instead of mayo. It’s a great summer dish! : )
This sounds delicious! Adding to my list of recipes to try!
It is so good! Be sure to have some extra honey mustard handy to add as desired!
