Dr. Seuss Book Themed Party Food
Here are a few easy options for party food to celebrate Dr. Seuss books. This is a good mix of sweets, savory, and healthy.
- Thing One and Thing Two cupcakes and One Fish, Two Fish cupcakes – to make it easy, buy plain cupcakes from your local bakery or use a box mix. Using premade frosting is another time saver. Pipe blue tinted frosting using a star tip to create the crazy hair of Thing One and Thing Two. Spread yellow frosting on cupcakes and top with Swedish fish candy and sprinkles as a nod to the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish book.
- Pop a bag of microwave popcorn or buy a bag of popcorn to reference the Hop on Pop story.
- Decorate mandarin oranges with stick on googly eyes and Lorax mustaches.
- Serve multi-colored goldfish shaped snack crackers as another reference to the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish story.
- Purchase a blue tinted punch and call it “New Blue Goo” or buy some Yoo-hoo chocolate drink boxes as another beverage option in addition to water.
