Do you like finding great recipes on Pinterest or on the internet? I am always doing searches to find how to cook new dishes. Along the way I have found some recipes that have become permanent fixtures to my cooking routines. I will share a few of those in this post.
This post is a follow-up post to my post a couple of years ago, Five Favorite Recipes That You Will Love. Check that post out for a great White Chicken Chili recipe, Chicken Rice a Roni Casserole recipe, Copycat Outback Alice Springs Chicken, delicious teriyaki sauce, and the Best Broccoli, Grape, Pasta Salad. They are all recipes you should give a try.
I have used this method many times to cook chicken tenders for recipes that call for cooked or shredded chicken. They turn out perfectly every single time. I have done frozen tenders and fresh so it works for either. It is a very quick way to have your chicken ready to use in a casserole or other type of recipe. If you have an Instant Pot then you need this recipe.
This is a simple and quick to fix chicken noodle soup recipe. I’ve used this recipe for years since a friend brought it to a soup dinner. I love to make it when someone at my house is having stomach problems, flu, or cold; or if we are craving warm soup for lunch or dinner. It is nourishing and tastes so much better than any canned soup. You can also add mushrooms or other ingredients to suit your own tastes. This is definitely one to keep on hand.
If you are fixing for a crowd then this is the perfect recipe. It is so easy and makes plenty for a group. You can add some yummy sides and you are ready to go. This pulled pork can be adjusted to your preference by choosing your favorite bottled BBQ sauce or adjusting the spices that you add. The best part is that there is little or no prep and the crock pot does all the work. You can also make good use of any left overs if you happen to have any!
*Please note: I do not make mine as spicy as this recipe! I like a small amount of cajun seasoning to give it a little heat but not too spicy. However, I do love the flavor of this shrimp and it is amazingly easy to prepare. I use it when I make shrimp fried rice or when I make shrimp and grits. It’s also good in a shrimp and veggie stir fry. If you like the flavor of cajun seasoning, then you should try this shrimp recipe. Just be sure to adjust the seasoning amount to your preference of spiciness.
I love banana nut bread but I do not like all the calories! I found this recipe that uses Splenda and it is a very good replacement for the full fat, sugary version. I do not add the cinnamon or the nutmeg when I make it but that is just my preference. I have found that new flour makes up the best. I do add a little more banana to mine and I always add walnuts. Of course, it does have a little bit different flavor due to having Splenda instead of sugar, but to me it is worth not having all the calories. It is such a great breakfast bread to have with morning coffee.
