Five Ways to Make Your Easter Easy and Eggs-tra Unique!
Fun and Easy Touches to Add to Your Easter Celebration
Here are five easy ways to add Easter fun to your celebration. From non-candy filled eggs to a holiday dinner plan done for you, these ideas will add a little “eggs-tra” special touch to your day.
Non Candy Filled Easter Eggs
If you are looking for a way to fill Easter eggs that does not involve candy, then try out our friend Tina’s idea from Crafted Living Blog. She turns Easter eggs into mini craft kits. Fill the eggs with stickers and other fun tiny details that can then be used to decorate the egg. Check out her post for the instructions here.
Fair and Square Easter Egg Hunts
To prevent the inevitable squabbles over who got more filled Easter eggs, try this idea. Leave the eggs empty and instead give out bags filled with goodies at the end of the egg hunt. Everyone will get the same amount of candy and prizes. Plus you don’t have to worry about candy melting inside the eggs! Here’s a link to a cute option for goodie bags.
Dye Eggs with Less Mess
Dyeing Easter eggs can be a messy business especially when you have younger kids. Try this tip from Karen on how to minimize the mess: use a kitchen whisk! Place the egg inside the whisk. Then kids can then use the handle to easily lower the egg down into the dye.
Easter Themed Cookie Cutter Ideas
Easter themed cookie cutters (click to view) can be used to make cute decorated treats like the ones pictured. *If you need a great sugar cookie recipe, grab it here.* You can also take it a step further and use them for other things. Why not cut out fruit in the shapes of bunnies? Or you could also use them to cut out sandwiches for the kids.

How to Make an Easter Basket for Grownups
It is amazing to look back at how my family’s Easter traditions have changed. But the most important things have not-we still praise our risen Savior and we still gather with family and friends.
I agree. Easter changes over the years but the reason we celebrate it does not. It is a great time for family, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.
