Five Favorite Recipes That You Will Love
One thing that I really love is trying new recipes. I love recipe books, old family recipes, and going online, on Pinterest, etc. to find something new to try. Here are five of my favorite ones that I found online that I use over and over. I think you will find that these are worth a try and you may want to add them to your favorite recipes as well.
Crockpot White Chicken Chili Recipe from The Skinnyish Dish
I make this white chicken chili recipe from The Skinnyish Dish often. It is good served with tortilla chips! It has lots of good flavors and it’s easy to do. She has this crockpot version and also an instant pot version. The other great thing about this recipe is that it is very healthy and she even has the calories and Weight Watchers points already figured out. I make a couple of adjustments for my own tastes. I use less cayenne pepper than she calls for and I use fat free half and half. This is a great recipe anytime but it’s the perfect recipe for cooler weather. Chicken Rice a Roni Casserole Recipe from Plain Chicken
This is one of my favorite chicken with rice casseroles. I really like the flavor of chicken Rice a Roni so when I saw this recipe I had to try it. It is pure comfort food. It is really easy to put together and has only five ingredients. I make it exactly like the recipe except I use 98% fat free cream of chicken soup and light sour cream. I find that it is still just as good. Click here for Chicken Rice a Roni Casserole on Plain Chicken.
Copycat Outback Alice Springs Chicken from Dinner-Mom
I like to try copycat restaurant recipes from time to time. One of my favorite entrees at Outback is the Alice Springs Chicken. I especially like the honey mustard sauce they have for dipping. This recipe is spot on for the flavors of the restaurant version. The best part is the honey mustard sauce recipe that is included on Dinner-Mom. It is identical to the restaurant sauce at Outback. Even better, this recipe is super easy to make! Click here for Copycat Alice Springs Chicken from Dinner-Mom.
The Best Teriyaki Sauce Ever from DIY Life
A lot of internet recipes are praised as the best ever. This one really is the best! It is easy to make and uses ingredients you probably already have at home. After making and using this sauce for chicken, beef, or shrimp I could not go back to bottled sauce. It is that good. It is also very easy to put together and is delicious for drizzling or dipping, as well as for using in cooking and as a marinade. My favorite is to use it for cooking sheet pan teriyaki chicken or beef and vegetables. Click here for The Best Teriyaki Sauce Ever from DIY Life.
Broccoli, Grape, and Pasta Salad Recipe from Southern Living
This is one of my most favorite salads. It is pretty and it is delicious. Kristin (also a writer on WAGD) and I were giving a bridesmaid luncheon a few years ago. She suggested this salad and it was perfect. We had many compliments that day from the luncheon attendees. It is great for any occasion or if you are just craving a good pasta salad. I have made it with less pasta and with no bacon and it was still really delicious. This is one you want in your go-to recipes! Click here for Broccoli, Grape, Pasta Salad from Southern Living.
Enjoy!
I hope that you will enjoy these recipes as much as I do. Here’s a tip for you. I like to print out my favorites and keep them in a notebook with dividers. It makes finding the recipe later so much easier. Please share any great recipes you love that are online in the comments. I would love to try them!
Have a good day!
