Five Winter Weather Products You’ll Love
In general, I am a warm weather girl. I want to love winter just as I do spring, summer, and fall, but I really do not like being cold. However, I do love to see snow when we get some here in Northeast Georgia. Snow doesn’t come often or in large amounts, but it is a such a treat to enjoy it for a day or two. We don’t normally have freezing temperatures, so those days that are very cold, rainy, or windy really chill us Georgia girls to the bone. So, every winter I find myself looking for new products to help me make it through until spring. Here are five that I have tried this year that I really enjoyed or found useful.

1. Frother
This handy little frother is my new favorite gadget. I use it in my coffee every single day. My coffee always has some creamer and a little sweetener and tastes kind of like dessert. A frother adds the missing piece I never knew my coffee needed until a friend enlightened me about this gadget. Now my coffee is perfectly mixed and has delicious froth floating on top. Mmm, dessert! It’s simple but makes a nice difference. Now, I am not sure if my frother is the best model, but it works well. Other than my coffee, I use it for things like whisking eggs, or mixing liquids and spices together when I am cooking. Works like a charm. 2. Scarf Organizer
Prior to this handy addition to my closet, I had scarves on hangers, in a basket on a closet shelf, and in a drawer. I needed to get all of them together so that I could keep them organized and see all my choices. This is the perfect way to accomplish both of those desires. It is pretty sturdy and works well to do what it is designed to do. If you need to organize your scarves for winter, this is something you may want to try. The other great thing is that it is under $10 and worth every cent! Click here to check it out or click on the picture above.
3. Yeti Coffee Mug or Travel Cup
I use these two Yeti mugs for all my hot and cold drinks. They will keep liquids hot or cold for a long time. When I am busy, I will tend to let my drinks sit and they will not stay hot long enough or my ice will melt and the drink will be room temperature. With these, I do not have to worry. I really like to use the short mug at home for hot beverages. The taller one is great to take any drink on the go since it fits into your cup holder. A word of warning about hot beverages in a Yeti. You may think they have cooled some when they have not. You can quickly end up with the dreaded burned tongue so be careful! These mugs come in assorted colors. 4. Chapstick Total Hydration Overnight Lip Serum
I have Chapstick everywhere; my car, purse, nightstand, etc. I have to use it during cold weather or deal with terribly dry, cracked lips. During the day, I like to use Chapstick Total Hydration products. This winter I discovered this overnight lip serum. It is thicker than regular chapstick and stays on during the night to hydrate and heal dry lips. It has made a big difference for me this winter. I will tell you that it has a very sweet scent that reminds me of sugar cookies. However, it does not have any flavor, which I like. You can take a look at it at this link or click the picture above.
5. Women's Fuzzy Pullover 1/4 Zip Hooded Sweatshirt
My husband gave me this sweatshirt as a gift because he knows how cold I am all winter! It is the warmest and coziest shirt I own. It has pockets sewn into the side seams as well. Mine is about 2 sizes larger than I normally wear and I am very glad because I really like the oversized feel of it. I can wear it over a long sleeved T-shirt and it still fits loosely enough that it feels very comfortable. I would definitely recommend going up one size for it to fit well and even two sizes up if you want a loose fit like the model is showing.
